Martin Luther King Day March 1/18

The St. James community is honored to join with other faith communities that are part of Loudoun Interfaith BRIDGES in celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

For this 18th Annual Celebration, the theme is “‘The Dream,’ Unity in Diversity” and it’s a joy to be able to raise our voices together with so many others from different faith traditions and community groups, sharing the dream for a world in which none are excluded from the goodness of life, in which all are invited to be part of a Beloved Community.

Participants will gather at the Leesburg Courthouse in the morning, to step off the march to Douglass Community Center at 10:00 am. Look for the red “You are welcome here” St. James banner, and/or for the Loudoun Interfaith BRIDGES banner.
